When you order caladiums, you’re actually purchasing a ‘future’, i.e. bulbs that haven’t been harvested yet from our fields. Because we always receive more orders than we can supply for most varieties, your order reserves a portion of our harvest that will be shipped to you at the proper time for planting in your area. The chart below indicates the anticipated shipping date(s) for orders bound for your part of the country. For example, if you live in Maine, your order will most likely be shipped during the week of June 5th. If you live in Colorado, your order will most likely ship between April 21st and May 12th. Although you can indicate in the comments section of the electronic Order Form that you would like your bulbs sooner than the schedule below recommends, we will only guarantee bulbs that are shipped according to the schedule.
If the ship date for your area has expired, we will ship the order at our next available ship date.

We pay the cost of shipping on all orders shipped via UPS in the continental United States. The shipping charge for orders to be shipped to Alaska and Hawaii will be calculated as 30% of your total order. Any order shipped via United States Postal Service (because a street address wasn’t provided on the electronic order form for ‘ship to’ address) will incur an additional $5.00 freight/handling charge.
Orders paid for with a credit card will be charged to your account the week prior to shipping.
